Chris 5
Apologies if this post is duplicated (I had IT issues as I submitted!) Can anyone advise if when applying for a 60 day tourist visa to enter Thailand, I have to send details showing a return flight - or if I can show just one way for entry? I know I am going to extend by the 30 days allowed while there, but if the flight is pre booked for the visa I will have to pay to change it I think. Thanks for any help you can give. MajorTom
Depends on what embassy you apply. (You may need a ticket out of Thailand. Dont have to be return) Either way: onwardticket.com is your friend ????

Many years ago I used to obtain tourist visas for Thailand at the Saigon consulate. I was required to provide flight to Thailand. No onward flight required. Being years old info wait for others to confirm this.
Chris 5
Thank You. These days from the UK you have to use E-visa and apply online - but you have to show the ticket in the application process.......so I have to know the requirements before I start. I will have a look at the website you suggested though!

In that case the flight is for airline. I don't believe onward flight required for tourist visa application.

Many embassies and official consulates are asking to a ticket out of the country for tourist visa applications now. It is certainly required to apply on the e visa site. 1
Petethefeet
I booked a return flight for 90 days. I came in on the 5 day test and go scheme fro the UK. I had a 60 day visa stamped in my passport when I arrived in Thailand on January 6th. I received a 30 day visa extension last week. That worked for me. That's what I did in the pre-Covid days. Thanks ubonjoe.
