rct99q
Free. Local market has a stall with kids going thru barber school and they have to do 2weeks practicum. Best is I tell them up to you, so they get to practice specialty cuts. I have had several different styles this past year. Always fun. Perfect for me as I have a full head of hair grown every 6 weeks or so.
tomazbodner
our local barber is 250 baht for haircut. They raised the price when they bought all the equipment to sanitise the shop after every customer, which is perfectly fine. Small place, 3 guys in there, very friendly. No need to explain what to do as it's same one every time and already knows. Gladly pay them double that to at least a bit compensate for lack of customers since COVID hit. Onerak
Mall salons charge 250 baht. Rompho market barbers 120 baht last time I was in Pattaya around Sept 2021.
Andycoops
I pay 60 baht in my local Isaan town for an air conditioned cut, it's all relative to where you are.

Buy a 850 baht electric clipper and have a crack at it yourself. Instant hansum man???? Downstairs too ????

Lessons learned: 1) 250 at salon is ok. 2) barber would’ve been a more sensible choice in my situation. 3) I’m hansum now. 4) you can ask Thais what you want. Don’t expect it. 5) continue DIY DIY on the head can save you soo much money, especially when the wife's away. ????
Peteblank
I pay 100 baht at the barbershop in pattaya. It's what it says on the sign at the entrance. I think it's a fair price.

problemfarang
Normal shops are between 100-120 baht. Some normal shops made 200 saying covid hit them. If you go to a shop in a mall or big one yes 250 is actually little. In some shopping malls its aroubd 400-500 So anything between 100 - 500 is ok. Again up to where you are having your hair cut.
