Night manager admits to being a Peeping Tom after ogling Thai tourist from the UK in luxury resort on Phuket

Provincial and local police in Phuket reacted after a woman called Tong Kamolchanok (Naya) went on Facebook to say that the night manager of a luxury pool villa on Koh Sire off the main island had peeped at her while she was taking a midnight shower.

 

She claimed it was the night manager at the luxury facility and that he stood and watched for 10-15 minutes.

 

She said that when she told the General Manager he did nothing as it was 3 am and he wanted to sleep.

 

At nearly 7 am Monday she went to the Muang district police to register a complaint. 

 

Police went to the resort and started collecting evidence including DNA samples.

 

 

One picture showed the victim in an indoor pool sipping a glass of wine.

Nop, 34, admitted to being a Peeping Tom but he said he didn't pull the kite strings, a Thai euphemism for masturbation.

 

He was bailed after being charged, reported Manager. 

 

Tong's Facebook page that has nearly 1,800 followers says she lives in London, UK and is an alumni of St Joseph Bang Na, Assumption University and Northumbria University. 

 

Pictures show her enjoying a trip to Thailand through March in Koh Kood then at Koh Tao which she described as "paradise".

 

Her latest post, however, praised the speedy work of the Phuket provincial police. 

 

She appeared to have deleted her original post, notes ASEAN NOW.

I had a similar incident at a resort on Samui. Resort owner just peering through my window at night and grinning inanely at me.

At least this one can't be blamed on evil farangs.  The last thing they want to do here is to ogle wine-sipping, midnight pool-dipping UK ladies.

No, hadn't looked at the picture.  Whoops, just did, and you're right, that is not a typical Uk girl.  From her high school (corroborated by her appearance) that is a rather attractive Bangkok girl.

couple thoughts ... how is it even possible to watch someone showering at a hotel ? 

Certainly can't say I would not be peeping if a saw a babe showering, at least for a few seconds, though would get bored quick.  Rather watch the wife, as I could help her shower.

 

She has 2.7k friends on FB ... kind of tells me she likes the attention, and surely her accounts views have skyrocketed.  Questions one's motives for even reporting.

 

From her FB, in the public domain, and she's worried about someone seeing her shower ... ????
