Police in Samut Sakhon said that there had been four gold shop robberies at different stores in Muang district in the last month.

The latest was at Bangkok Gold in Lotus Mahachai 2 on Wednesday evening, reported Thai Rath.

Shop manager Orisara said that a man aged about 35 had come into the store dressed in a grey cap, mask and hoodie and asked to look at two baht weight bracelets.

A whole tray was taken down for his perusal and he tried on one item before biding his time then running off.

Muang district police said he fled on a sky blue and white motorcycle.

In my country they don't show the robberies and don't tell how much money/gold they got.. Reason is quite easy.. if the show how easy it is and how much money they get it will give ideas for more... so stop with that and of course improve the security..
