Insurance for post May TP entry

Recommended Posts

Looking for this *** ...

FWD has the front page en english, but if i choose "buy online", it's in Thai language... ????

How to buy this thing with no complication ? I need the acceptance to be quick, and the policy to be accepted for TP, that's all.

So you now say it is a requirement for TP without any specific requirement

You very soon will require a 10k insurance cover.

The fact is people will have a significant chance of acquiring Omicron variant.

Almost everyone I know including myself and partner have had it here in Thailand.

No one has gone to hospital.

The insurance for most is irrelevant.

Attached is just one example.

A USA friend on holiday tested positive. This is couple of months ago.

Insurance has not paid.

She quarantined in hotel where she was at the time.

From May 1 there will be no compulsory testing as per Test and Go for vaccinated folk.

The insurance for vast majority is now irrelevant. .

Why the compulsion to continually digress.

This was the original post

"fwd has from 650b per month or from 4200b per year (multiple entry). That is still $20k.

The new once, for $10k, would appear sometimes in May "

and this was my response

"That is currently 700K THB, about $20.6K, they may well reduce the cover but I doubt the premium will go down.

Has anyone actually used the 650 baht option, I find it difficult to see how they would issue the TP with only 14 days insurance and no PCR test."

Please stick to the point in question. As said previously

"If you had entered the country on a 30 day certificate that had no cover for the first 14 days you may have some credibility."
