Yellow eggplants

Featured Replies

I used to have a lot of luck growing aubergine here in Korat, but this year the green, Thai variety is producing a lot of yellow fruit. As far as I know, this is inedible (or "mai aroi" as the missus told me). Anyways, I was wondering if anybody here can answer the following questions regarding the yellow eggplants:

Firstly, should I just pull those plants up and start again?

Secondly, is there anything I can do to stop the yellow fruit from growing/encourage more of the green fruit to grow?

Thanks in advance.
