Aplying for evisa (tourist) outside home country

Featured Replies

I noticed a thread where Phnom Pehn wants you to jump through hoops for a tourist visa, and if it's like a few years ago you'll only get one.

Why do people not apply for tourist visa online through website? For example, if you're from UK you would apply online and it would go through London embassy.

If you're not in UK I don't think Thai officials would know, if you had a home/residency in UK.

And when they sent you electronic visa you could use it to enter Thailand.

I'm sure there is a reason why it's impossible but just wondering.

When applying for a tourist visa on the e visa site you need provide a ticket to Thailand from the UK when you apply for it.

Do you think it would be impossible to apply for a ticket from OnwardTicket and get a flight into Thailand from neighboring country on same day you're meant to land.

You could try but they might try to confirm the reservation. You would have to guess how long the onward ticket need to be valid for incase they check it.
