Pudendal nerve block experience

does anybody got a pudendal nerve block done? What was your experience. 

 

Any doctor recommendation in Bumrungrad?

For what purpose? Usually this is done as an anesthetic during childbirth or certain medical procedures.

The suspected diagnoses is "Pudendal neuralgia". A diagnosis step is the pudendal nerve block (a positive effect of anaesthetic infiltration of the pudendal nerve).

That is a rare condition (google claims  notwitshstanding) and I don't know anyone in Thailand with much experience in treating it.

 

The nerve block per se can be done by an anesthesiologist but would have to be ordered by a doctor who concurs with the differential diagnosis.

Thanks @Sherylfor the pointer! 

 

My neurologist suggested the differential diagnostic. He wanted to refer me to a "pain specialist" which can do the procedure. 

I like to get some research done beforehand as the referred doctor is sometimes hit and miss and afterwards I find out that there might be a better option.
