I am hoping that maybe some of you would have an idea about good value hotels in Lampang.Only staying the weekend but need something reasonable as I am a very badly paid teacher.

Go for some of the guesthouses then? Some cheapies around. Also check the LP guide. For mid range hotels just grab one off the web.

Riverside Guesthouse is good. About 300 baht for fan room in "high' season. Air available. Nearby Riverside Restaurant a bit of a local farang hangout.
