sparktrader is quite good with investing in stocks .

He looks at the ten year price history of stocks and then states when was the best time to buy those stocks

The best time is after a decent sell off.

What do you think Buffet does? Buy the highs lol

But its easy to spot the lows, when you are looking at a ten year price history

You dont have to buy the lows. Just buy value. If a house is worth 500,000 would you buy it at 550,000?

If a stock is worth $40 would you buy it at $45?

If its $35 its value.

Value approach example

Roe 20% over 10 years

Current pe 10x

Buy when pe is 50% or less of the avg roe.

You can google the numbers. Dont even need a calculator.

Work out the price you want and wait.

Gold zero income and it costs to store it. Makes no sense unless goes up a lot.

.

Barely covered inflation gross less storage fees you have lost.

I have gold and silver holdings. They cost me nothing to store them.

I sold out of both on March 1, have now bought back in.

Obviously, you have never heard of the pool allocated system.

Dont have much interest. Gold was cheap in the 1990s. Not now.

Besides big board stocks that provide a nice quarterly/monthly dividend I enjoy playing the OTC.

Oil & energy stocks have been good to me these past 12 months or so.

I'm thinking nearly everything was cheaper in the 1990s then what it is today.

All relative. Gold had a bull run from 2000 to 2012.

But gold lost  80 % of its value the twenty years prior to that

Gold is a dog imo most of the time. I think its 25% overvalued atm.

I presume that everyone agrees that it will continue to crash down, then after 1-2 years it will sky rocket again to a new ATH that far exceeds the previous one.

It makes sense. There'll be a load new young college people to get hyped up for the first time as it skyrockets. People will be buying it on credit cards and mortgages their houses to get on the next run again.

Rinse and repeat.

Bit late now.

Wasn't it predicated the price would go to $1 Million by about now ?

I recall that some people who bought Bitcoin back then were ordering their custom made Lamborghinis and looking at which Caribbean Island they would retire to in 2022
