Closed Japanese restaurant voucher holders urged to file complaints

Customers who have pre-paid for buffet vouchers from the Japanese restaurant chain Daruma are being urged by a lawyer to file complaints with the Central Investigation Bureau at 3pm today (Monday), in a suspected case of consumer fraud, in which the chain’s social media has disappeared, the company cannot be contacted, the promised services have not been provided and obligations to its customers remain outstanding.

Garbage, grease blamed for blocking sewers as drainage efforts begin Monday

Abundant garbage and household grease have been found in the sewers in Bangkok’s Huai Kwang area, on the first day of clearing the city’s drainage system by prisoners, to curb the persistent flooding problem especially during the current rainy season.

House committee limits household cultivation of cannabis to 10 plants

Thailand’s Lower House Scrutiny Committee on the Cannabis and Hemp Bill has decided to set a limit of 10 on the number of cannabis plants which can be cultivated for household use and on the size of the land on which cannabis can be cultivated for commercial purposes by small, medium and large scale enterprises, according to Panthep Puapongpan, spokesman for the committee.

Cannabis Products Banned From Schools and Universities

Traffic offenders in Thailand who fail to pay fines may face arrest
