Are colored photos needed for visa extension

Hi 

 

My visa is ending soon and I'm preparing the stuff needed for my visa renewal. 

Silly question. Do we need to print the photos out in color or black and white is OK?

Immigration will accept conlor photo for the TM7 form and those in and around the house for a extension based upon marriage.

Do the photos have to be glued or stapled to an A4 size paper or just loose?

And two copies of each photo?

If individual photos they would have to attached to A4 paper. They can be printed on A4 paper. I do my own and print them on photo paper.

You will need two sets photos along with all other documents attached to a TM7 form.

We just take the photos, and the IO picks the ones he wants, and attaches them to A4.

A good question as each Immigration Office has their own requirements. Chonburi (Pattaya) Immigration does not require you to attach photo to TM.7 - they do it for you (I usually get my photo next door just before going in to do my extension without attaching it).  Further, they require only one photo for retirement extensions.

That's true however thinking OP is asking about photos for extension marriage.

Immigration can be fussy about those.

I've had black and white accepted without comment one year, but coloured wanted the next. Same office, different officer.

As others have mentioned, I take a bunch of photos along and let the IO decide which ones he wants, and he then sticks them of an A4. The office I use (Kalasin) only need one copy, some other offices want two. You might as well have two to be safe.

For my B visa extension we just print pictures on normal plain copy paper, and If i recall correctly we printed black and white one year with no issues.
