you're far better just googling this info anyway.

Exactly...

With all the info available online combined with you must have been living under a bridge with no print media available ...my spidey sense puts all these  "How To" topics on weed as troll posts.

Plus if you grow your own, you know for a fact it hasn't been polluted with all kinds of nasty chemicals!

Have you conduct.ed a chemical analysis of the water you intend to use If not is the water going to be filtered or reverse osmosis .

Well and tap water will contain many impurities, along with the inert materials in fertilizaers.

I always get it backwards, it's "RIU"., not RUI.

LOS pot news is listed there under World Pot News and

a LOS grower showing his grow.

Some of the RIU Forum Topics.

<deleted>/EC meters and what I use for pH.

A member DM'ed me about RIIU's  www.

it's  www.rollitup.org

Rollitup forum are based in the USA, not really helpful for growers in Thailand as both the weather and available supplies are different, and/or unaffordable.

Fox farm nutrients in Thailand 2,000bht for 750ml. Neem oil unavailable. Suitable organic soils unavailable.

The list is endless.

Light color and their K as a quick guide.

LED Gardner Forum(will be closing in July) has guides for building LED

strip lighting. Bridgelux. and Samsung, below is the wiring guide. They

give you a light size and strip choice. With your choice, they have a parts

list for the DIY build. You can buy from what ever store you want.

My Bridgelux Gen 3  4000K and Cutter Electronic from down under, with

2000K Nicha chips.. The Bridgelux strips are from DigiKey, Free shipping

on orders over U$50.  Cutter does high end strips and boards. Shipping

from OZ to LOS is high.

The sheet aluminum and the L-angle aluminum I got close to The Mall Korat.

All the other parts are from Alibaba and Ali-X.

Or you could just buy a HLG240 + Quantum board ready built from Lazada for 5,000bht.

(I have 2 and they work very well)

I spent a lot of time searching the internet for information on how to grow.

Plenty of advice for those growing in the USA, nothing for anyone trying to grow in Thailand.

Equipment, fertiliser, soils used in the USA just not available here.

Weather in California totally different, all the advice available is for people growing in a temperate climate.

As for costs, around 7k-8kbht for lights and a 2ft x 4ft tent.

Takes about 20-30mins a day to prep nutrients and water the plants.

Energy costs, 3-4 units/day 16bht tops, 1,800bht total for 6-8oz of dried flower.

Enjoy paying 700bht/gm from a shop,

Even at 300bht/gm ...... 6gm Vs 6oz.

You get lots of comments from people that have never grown anything, anywhere.

Post a photo of your last grow ..............

Thank you, do you mean that electricity for 20 hours lamps only cost 1800 thb / month ?

thanks again

Anything less is just wasting your money. Plenty of cheap scam lights for sale, they just can't grow anything. My lights have had 6 months use so far, just started using one again this week.

Where do you get the best seed for the price please ? I guess that we can only trust seeds from EU or US ?

anybody has good results with Thai seeds ?

Order your seeds from Attitude Seedbank. They post with tracking from the UK and they will be here within 10 days.

Worth it for guaranteed females and good genetics imo. So far I have a 100% germination success rate from them.

I've bought seeds in Thailand and my germination success rate is > 20% for unknown genetics.

Okay I scanned the thread and one thing no one seems to have mentioned, and it's critically important: ventilation. If you're growing indoors in a condo bedroom, whether you use a tent or not, you are going to need to vent the humid, CO2-depleted air out of your room. I mean that it has to go out of the building; you can't just pull it out of a tent for example and then dump it in the rest of the room next to the tent. Further, you should also have a vent to pull fresh air from outside somehow as the exhaust fan pushes humid air out. Basically you need to have two vents that go straight outside, one to dump air out of and the other to pull fresh air from (this second one is sort of optional, but you get way better growth if you have fresh air intake). In houses, for covert growing, these are often done by venting into an attic or into the crawlspace under the floor.

My point is that these things are all really easy to do in a house, but very difficult to do in a condo or apartment building. How would you do ventilation? The only way I can think of when I imagine a Thai condo bedroom is that you'd have to rig something with the window(s). That doesn't sound very promising, but I don't know what your setup is. You can't cut into any walls, floors or ceilings (a common way with house grows) because you'll be cutting into the neighbor's place. You wouldn't be wise to hook into the bathroom exhaust fan duct either because you'd be blowing positive pressure into other condo units and screwing up the air paths that way.

Is the window in the room you're thinking of doing the grow in facing anyone else's windows? Or is it up high on a condo building so that there's no one near your windows? If other people are nearby you will really have to do a tent grow, as grow lights would be extremely bright going out your window. So how will you dump the exhaust air? If you have a condo bedroom with a sliding glass door out to a balcony, you could set something up like a board that you would mount the ducting to that would go in the gap when you closed the sliding door on it...

EDIT: I just remembered about the humidity in Thailand, so, actually you would not want to be taking intake air from outside, you'd be wanting to take it from inside the condo from another room, preferably one that has A/C running all the time (the air will be dry and cooler). So to pull that off, you'd need to cut a vent... that's right—a hole in the wall—from that room to another room, probably the living room.

What does it matter where a forum is based? There are growers from all over the world, including Thailand.

There is a wealth of growing info. From seed to curing.

You can get neem oil on Shope, also neem cake.

Below Fox Farm info found on RIU. You can run the #'s
