they stagger around with a silver grated tray of cold prawns that look like c_rap and have been there longer than it takes to down 6 bottles of leo then they want 300 baht for 5 of them.

Absolute garbage in my book ....

I agree, you see them driving along the road with the trays, no doubt for hours on end.... why on earth anyone would want to consume that is beyond me.

exactly ......  so rack off and let the beach be used as intended and not as a food market.

Can you be 'turfed' off sand?

  • Small step of progress, beeches are far better without all the vendors hawkers and stray dogs.

I'd rather be turfed off than sanded off.

Keep them off the sand, but allow them to set up stands on the road.  That way the beach is clear, but food is accessible.

But traffic flow will be impeded, unless you meant let them trade on the pavement, which will impede pedestrians.

They don’t pay tax so they should have no rights to do business.

How do you know (a) that they don't pay tax and (b) that they earn enough to be out of the exempt tax band?

More proof that Thailand is a third world country when squatters demand squatters rights. Laws mean absolute nothing to these people.

And as usual  the authorities  have got it wrong.
