Pattaya officials set up a stand on South Pattaya Beach to keep records of homeless people in the area and promised to improve their living conditions and integrate them back into society.

The operation took place in front of Mike Shopping Mall yesterday, June 30th, under the direction of Pattaya Deputy Mayor Wuthisak Rermkitjakarn and Director of the Homeless Protection Center Teeraporn Srichand.

According to Teeraporn, the population of homeless people in Pattaya was essentially rising during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic when many employees were forced out of their jobs and became homeless, subsequently losing connections with all state agencies.

What a shame for a country like Thailand. They fork out 600 million for the beautification of Na Jomtien beach while having countless homeless people (do not take the picture above as a reference).
Once the last homeless has some shelter, some human living conditions and an integration programme to put them back into the working cycle, then look at beaches and submarines ........
