Pheu Thai proposes eight ways to tackle rising energy prices

The Pheu Thai Party proposed eight measures to tackle rising energy prices on Tuesday.

 

“Government measures are not really helping the majority of the people,” said Pichai Naripthaphan, the deputy leader of the party.

 

He was referring to the measures that were introduced to help lower living costs that were introduced by the Cabinet in June.

 

Pichai said there is a possibility that the United States economy could go into recession in 2022 which will affect the global economic recovery.

What a bunch of numpties . Can anyone please explain how at least 3 of the list below can be adequately done NOW - or even in the next few years or so - to help the people suffering NOW out? 

 

• Transform Thailand’s energy consumption structure by promoting the use of electric cars with more charging stations and promoting the production of electrical cars and their components such as battery and microchip
•  
• Transform Thailand’s electricity production and consumption structures by promoting the use of renewable energy, especially solar and wind energy, by developing an energy storage system
•  
• Accelerate negotiation on disputed land between Thailand and Cambodia to enable gas exploration in the area

'Pichai said the government should put on hold new weapon purchases, such as the four billion baht budget to buy seven drones from an Israel company and the air force plan to buy F-35 fighter jets which cost around 2.7 billion baht each, in order to help fund the measures to help people cope with rising living costs.'

Should include forming a national government to tackle the worsening economic crisis until next election, Prayut and whole cabinet to step aside for a more competent team.

One way is enough to save the energy prices from going up and bring them back down.

Make the Government stop wasting billions of THB and buy cheaper crude oil and gas than what they do now.

Then they can supply cheaper fuel and  help the people .

Other countries can why not Thailand .

And most of the new measures are long term or will not make a difference to the lower end.

Still can't take these guys seriously after their hairbrained scheme to run boat propellers in the river to stop flooding during Yingluck's Great Flood. Incredible.
