Local officials blamed bad weather after the number of tourists arriving at Bali Hai Pier to travel to Koh Larn did not meet their expectations.

Medical Council of Thailand issues guidelines on cannabis use for medical treatment

Thai PM orders investigation into illegal sales of Covid-19 drugs at public marketplaces

Bangkok –Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O’Cha today, July 13th, ordered the Ministry of Public Health and related agencies to examine the illegal sales of Covid-19 drugs in public marketplaces and to create a correct understanding among people of the use of Covid-19 drugs.

This week we reported that initial findings of research, conducted by the Thai Department of Medical Sciences, show that the COVID-19 Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 sub-variants are likely to be more serious than the BA.2 sub-variant, says the department’s director-general, Dr.Supakit Sirilak.

Phuket sees less beach goers so far on the first day of five long holidays, bad weather blamed

Phuket – Not many beach goers were on Patong Beach today due to monsoon warnings and strong waves. Patong beach operators said their business income had decreased from before the holiday period but blamed it on the weather and not tourists.

Private hospital sanctioned for advertising prescription drugs in COVID-19 treatment packages

A private hospital in Khlong Luang district of Pathum Thani province is facing a fine and its management may face imprisonment after it was found to have advertised COVID-19 treatment packages which included Favipiravir and Molnupiravir to home isolation patients, in violation of the Hospital Act.

BMA not permitted to use Hua Lamphong station for outdoor movie show

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has rejected the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s (BMA) plan to use Hua Lamphong railway station as a venue for an outdoor showing of a popular Thai drama film, called “Khu Kam” (Sunset at Chaophraya), this Sunday, claiming that the station is a controlled area and that there may be many passengers travelling back from their vacations after this week’s public holidays.

World RoboCup 2022 commences at BITEC center
