He was only missing for a few days.

Oh yeah:

Mr. Glen reportedly arrived in Thailand on July 6th to reunite with his wife in Chaiyaphum province and decided to stop by Pattaya before going missing without a trace

Max 9 days of decomposition, so not much at all.  Was it a piranha field by any chance?

he has a wife they were planning to meet but she didn't bother reporting him missing

Grasping at straws there to justify your silly presumption that the wife is somehow involved.

The hotel had reported him missing, of which she may have been informed, by contacting the hotel after she couldn't contact her husband

He had "decided to stop by Pattaya" for a while before going on to meet her, so she very possibly wasn't expecting him to show up straight away.

Also, as has already been pointed out, she may have been the one who alerted the hotel about him in the first place, for all we know.

Did you finally read the article? no mention of her reporting him missing, stop jumping to conclusions

Not much of a wife then.

Sorry I missed that in the original report.

https://thepattayanews.com/2022/07/15/skeleton-report

The victim’s wife who lived in Chaiyaphum province told the officers over a phone that the victim had a history of memory loss issues and poor health and she believed he went for a walk, got lost, and tragically passed away.

Yet she doesn't seem to have reported it.

According to the Pattaya police, a hotel, in which Mr. Glenn stayed, was located around 500 meters away from the field. They reported him missing on July 12th. However, it appears Mr. Glenn may have actually vanished as early as July 6th.

At least the hotel did report it.

Yes I read the article at the time the OP was posted, and it is clearly mentioned that the hotel reported him missing on the 12th.

There is NO evidence that he went missing before that date, only a presumption that he MAY have been missing earlier.

So why would the wife need to report him again, if the hotel reported him missing already?

Stop jumping to conclusions????? I assume you are talking to yourself there, right?
