I'm far more interested in where he got the billions than the 500,000 baht for 52 meetings. Publish that

No corruption here just the junta leader Cha Cha working hard to bring happiness back to the people , move on.

Now let's see the only law in Thailand that is fully enforced ....... defamation.

Are you seriously talking about Thailand run by someone who committed Treason to take over a Kingdom by force. Really Quality govt. ??

You must be an American. Most Brits recognize sarcasm.

Note: apologies if you are not American. A rule of thumb being Americans don't get sarcasm or irony.

People are surprised? THIS is the reason why this character is prime minister. If he’s not a billionaire (baht), he’s stupid.

100 % right. It´s just that it´s a little bit easier here, and they actually get away with doing out in the open.

Yep, nice work if you can get it.

I wonder if all committee members get an allowance.

It's a common practice in many areas of government / government agencies.

I was a  confirmed member of a Ph.D. dissertation committe at 2 Thai unis for several years. There's no salary, members get paid a meeting allonce for every meeting/student dissertation presentation.

Sometimes the standard allowance is for 1 maybe 2 hrs & any further time is paid at an additional pro-rata amount.

And sometimes it's a fixed amount regardless of the total time taken.

Remember they also get extra for being the Minister in charge of certain ministries, so Prayut is the PM but also the Defense minister as well.  One paycheck is all these folks need. Yet it is the same in the US for being on certain boards as a member.....

and maybe still collect the salary from the Army... Pension/salary for a general must pay quite well

I would like to table a motion and give him an electric chair ????

Their might be a big lottery (over priced of course) as to who wins and gets to switch it on.

I know that he is the PM and he is also the Defence Minister. Does he claim the salary, expenses and perks for that also?
