I'll say this for you, you're consistent. I've yet to see you divert from your 'B@#£&r you Jack, I'm alright' line.

He conveniently forgets (likely had no idea) how good the Brits had it in Spain and Portugal and France if they had the means to retire there. Their kids (had they bothered to learn a second EU language -unlikely since many here are barely literate in their native English!) Would have the entire EU to freely work live and play in.

All gone now.

But hey, the phantom "scroungers" are gone!

I knew a few Poles, etc in my time in UK and they worked their <deleted> off! Every one of them. Poles and Indians also flew in the Battle of Britain and stormed Normandy, these ignoramuses don't even know that!

They're hard pressed to digest the Mail and Sun never mind detailed history. So they're condemned to repeat it.

But in the grand vision of Brexit, as sold by Farrago and freinds, the British would still freely come and go.

The Gendarmerie, tamed since Waterloo, would smartly salute and wave through all vehicles sprouting a GB (LoL!) sticker.

'Allo? Dream on you silly English kniggits! Your muzzer was a 'Amster and your father smelled of Elderberries! ????

Once again, incorrect .

Brits were well aware that any agreement would be reciprocated and any new rules would apply to all  .

Its just in your imagination that you thought Brexiteers expected that there would be different rules for each Country

I also knew people from other European Countries who lived in the U.K before Brexit.........................and I also still know them, because they are still here living in the U.K. and the Brits who lived in Spain prior to Brexit are still there living in Spain

Not forgotten, totally disregarded.
When it came to voting Leave, those people were the last to be considered. Who would even care about keeping them in clover? They were on a par with foreign nationals.

Just another opportunity for Brexit vindictiveness.

Vindictiveness, how so?

So the rest of Britain should not vote for Brexit, so a comparatively few retirees can travel to Spain easier?

The long delays to passenger traffic have as you correctly state cleared since last Saturday.

The far more important delays and costs to freight are on going and have been since day one of Brexit.

Costs and delays that directly impact the already struggling British economy.

They're all struggling and more to come.

Did you believe the Remainer "project fear" story that the U.K would completely cut itself off the Europe , not allowing anyone to cross in either direction, no trade and no contact and the U.K would become like North Korea ?

Like the U.K would sail off into the Atlantic ocean and anchor down in some remote place and British people would become like an undiscovered South American tribe deep in the Amazon Jungle ??

I did. That's why I voted Brexit. ????

I am delighted by the unmitigated cock-ups and ongoing denials of the Brexit "winners".

The only thing I'm missing is my Schengen priveleges. Free medical on holiday was priceless, but it's all gone now.

I have two other passports, and property in Thailand. All I have left in the UK is a bank account for a rainy day, but otherwise, I'll just wait for the Scots to secede, and get my Schengen priveleges back then. The Tories beyond BJ have little interest in keeping the union going, so long may they reign! They'll still have to share the defence budget with Scotland but that's only common sense.

Cake and eat it. You can fund your own army, just like the good old days.

No <deleted> Sherlock!

You can gussy it up in jollifed condescension all you want. I'm not taking geopolitical lessons from someone who can't write a basic sentence correctly thier native tongue!

It's a disaster, and as I said, I'm revelling in the Schadenfreude. (That's a big foreign word from the EU, so you can safely ignore it.) ????

Condescension! Rich looking at that.

Have you heard that the French immigration officers aren't going to turn up for work again and cause delays again ?

Nicely made up. Bravo.

No but it is that time of year. I was talking about the economic struggles of the UK and most everywhere else.

I couldn't agree more.

Therefore, I'll repeat my previous request that you do some of us a favour by listing the benefits that Brexit has brought - or will bring - to the UK.

And once again, this is not a thread about the benefits of Brexit, please start your own thread.....????

It’s not a complaint, it’s an observation that British workers have fewer rights than their EU colleagues in the same company (despite the UK having paid £millions to that company in furlough payments).

A very practical example of the impact of Brexit on ordinary working Brits.

...............who's jobs will now not be taken by cash in hand eastern Europeans or them working for peanuts...????

Quite. An all-English patriot who doesn't live there and doesn't want to. The epitome of hypocrisy, in other words.

Well, those on here that actually live in the UK, and are still smarting, would make a comment like that. ????

There aren’t any benefits of Brexit.

Perhaps not to socialists that don't like their country, or folk living in Costa del Lotta....????
