Oh, no.  What a loss.  When I lived in Jomtien I would see her a couple times a year, mainly for small cancerous/pre-cancerous growths.

The BPH has a whole oncology  department and a dermatology  department.

Yes, but training and experience dealing with skin cancer is lacking for the most part.  Asians are less susceptible to skin cancer compared to Caucasians.  Dr. Anna had her own skin cancer clinic in Santa Monica (USA) and is highly regarded for her skill and knowledge of skin cancers.  On the Health & Medicine forum section you'll find lots of testimony to that fact.

Hello

I go to Pattaya International Hospital.. the dermatologist lady is Dr.WARAPORN KLANWARIN

She is very good.. She makes all procedures with laser or cryo and also makes the procedure to remove samples for analysis

If it is really cancer she doesnt make the removal herself and it is the plastic surgeon Dr Choochart who removes it.. I went through the procedure with both and he informed me I would have a scarf of 3 centimeters in my face. Result.. absolutely invisible after 2/3 months

Excellent job, reasonable price

Have a nice day

She may be very good but my experience with her is a bit different. I had been seeing her perhaps every year for 20 years whenever I detected what I thought was a solar keratosis lesion on my face, forehead or arms and she confirmed that it was solar keratosis. She then either did laser treatment or froze it. All OK until the next visit a year later. So after many years I had another lesion on my temple and decided to visit Dr. Anna at BPH. Dr Anna immediately decided to do an autopsy and a week later, after confirmation that it was a basal cell carcinoma, she removed it by surgery. That lesion has not reappeared after a further 5 years. Dr. Waraporn's treatments would reappear again after a year. It was then that I realised that maybe Dr. Waraporn was aware that the lesions would reappear and it was a cash cow for her. She doesn't now get any more of my money.

I've had two strong recommendations for Dr. Nitivadee Teeyapan-Songdej. After a biopsy she excised an ugly skin cancer for one of my old friends, and he's had no further problems, extremely satisfied.

a Board Certified Specialist in Dermatology and Aesthetic Laser Surgery. She has practiced in the U.S.A for 15 years and has received training in over five countries.

Like Dr. Anna, not cheap but worth it.
