Siam Rath reported that a blaze at a trash heap on 11 rai of land in Nakhon Pathom was still not completely under control.

The blaze in Don Toom district began at 9am and by 4 pm it was only partially under control.

Some 200 firemen utilizing 30+ fire engines were using foam on the trash.

It was still burning after 12 hours.

Access was difficult and rain that looked as though it would assist fire fighters lasted only 5 minutes.

The fire has caused subsidence in the area.

Now why would they be using foam unless there is something other than 'trash' burning........????

Could see the smoke from my place.. luckily the wind was going in the right direction.
