77kaoded Thai Caption: Cap: Eight shots fired!!! Cutting in front road rage incident

77kaoded reported from Phetchaburi in south/central Thailand where an arrest was made within an hour after a road rage shooting incident.

It was all over someing as minor as an incident in which one vehicle cut in front of another. The gun was found at the house of a friend of the shooter.

Ban Lat police were informed of a gunshot injury on the Wang Bua to Lat Pho Road at 8pm last night.

At the scene they found a four door white Isuzu pick-up that had hit a lamppost.

They found eight bullet holes in the driver's side window.

The driver was Natthawut Sawangjai or "Nat" aged 28, a local man.

He had 9mm gunshot wounds in the abdomen, shoulder and arm but died later.

100 meters away police found 8 9mm casings and an abandoned, damaged vehicle with sidecar outside a barbers.

One of the people in the pick-up said they were all relatives and the wife of the deceased, five in total.

There was an argument with the driver of a red Isuzu after a close shave in which one of the vehicles cut in front of the other. Apologies were offered.

But shortly thereafter the red Isuzu caught up, overtook and cut in front causing the other vehicle to stop.

The driver got out and fired into the driver of the white pick-up.

It rolled away followed by the shooter, who, having made sure of his efforts got back in his own vehicle and raced off.

Police found out that the shooter was Banthit "Lek" Phosiri, 61, another local man who was soon arrested at his house.

He appeared drunk.

Police found the 9mm weapon that was used stashed at the home of a friend nearby.

Lek was taken away to the police station.

The media published a ten minute video of the aftermath.

teach people how to drive a car, and check their mental health instead of their physical health.... Some people drive like crazy, cut you off, brake in front of you with any reason, switching lanes without lokking and so on and so on..... If you respond on their behavior they get mad and see what happens.. Not the first time and not th last time this will be.. Almost daily news.. Rip to the deceased and the man who did it??? make sure he never can drive anything again

Some people just go nuts when driving. I knew a guy a long time ago that hated being passed by another car. He would chase after them and pull them over and smack them around until they said sorry for passing him. I wonder where he is at now?

Now if he was smoking the weed instead of drinking it wouldn't have happened. Because it's impossible to fight while high. In fact make it mandatory. What a happy world that would be. Right I'm off to buy some more Pizza Hut shares

make MDMA legal crime rate would drop drastically

But still hardly justification to kill someone.

Tell us about it in the "everywhere in the world" forum! Oh, and hug a Thai for me when you're out and about!
