  • There's that word yet again SHOULD. Why is it not mandatory that all entertainment venues have the necessary plans or certification in place before being allowed to open ..................???

  • It would be a single dog and pony show with the press on hand and a few pot bellied policemen.... and once they were gone, the chains would be back on any emergency exits.

  • ????..............Bolted.....????

Seems kind of simple to get things going.  All entertainment spots, bars, pubs, go-gos, etc to be closed immediately and indefinitely, until they make an appointment and have been inspected by an independent inspector/organisation and can provide/post the evidence that they have been successfully inspected.  So, at the start, everything that is open is open illegally, until inspected and certified.  Probably be a lot of pressure from tourists and TAT, and even the genuine businesses themselves, to get places certified as "safe". The illegal/noisy ones shouldn't be hard to find.

An off topic post about fires in the UK, Ireland and Sweden and the replies have been removed.
