Lazada Purchase with eBanking

Just a quick question as probably easier to ask here than contact Lazada for clarification.

 

The instructions for paying by mobile banking seem pretty clear except for the confusion in terminology.

I have to input 'your reference code'

But on my Lazada payment page I have 'your order number is' xxxxx

And below that is 'Bangkok Bank reference number' xxxxxxxx

 

I assume that the reference code I input is actually my 'order number' and not the 'BB reference number'

To pay via the app you enter the BB reference number as that's what links your Lazada transaction to the bank system (it was generated by the bank and sent to Lazada).

 

If you put the wrong number the system will tell you anyway.

Slight correction; the instructions actually say 'In payment code, enter your reference number'

 

So what is my reference number. Is it the same as my order number?

 

I actually did phone Lazada but the lady could not answer my question. She is however sending me an email which may or may not help

Thanks Crossy. So if it is the BB reference number and Reference 2 is your Mobile number that is enough to identify your purchase?

Yup, that should work. 

 

The worst that can happen is it won't.

 

The amount etc should be filled automagically.

Thanks again Crossy. I have now made the purchase. Lets see if it turns up.

On the Lazada app, I normally copy the order number and paste it into the BKKBK app in first reference box when paying by internet banking. 

 

I then put my phone number in the second ref box.

 

This is if I have added things to my shopping cart.

 

If I have just clicked on the "Buy Now" button on a particular item, it normally automatically adds the same ref number to both boxes.
