Ladyboy charged with murder after knife attack on young lover following "bong" assault claim

Bangkok Yai police were called to AWS Machine's offices on Petchkasem Road in western Bangkok after a young man was attacked with a fruit paring knife.

 

Poh Teck Tung tried to save Atthanirut's life with CPR but their efforts were in vain, reported Thai Rath. 

 

The Bangkok man died on the third floor in staff accommodation at the company.

 

He had a stab wound to the chest and a 10 cms knife was taken into evidence.

 

Ladyboy Mr Cherphat, 37, from Uttaradit was in tears and surrendered to police and was taken to the police station where he was charged with murder.

 

He said that the victim was his boyfriend. They had argued and split up but got together again.

 

The victim had just smoked a bong and drank kratom tea. 

 

Cherphat claimed that he hit him for no reason with the bamboo bong that made him so made he got the knife and stabbed him.

 

Chernphat then called the younger man's step father, 28 year old Tharaporn who contacted rescue services who were not in time to save the victim.
