Lam Morrison is an iconic figure in a country that has too few guitar heroes. Once had an album (cassette tape) of his where the recording was truly atrocious but you could tell he could play. Live he was much more interesting.

A pity original Thai music is mostly pop and nothing like rock as we know it, so mostly he did cover versions of western songs.

Second rate cover musician. Thai music is one of the most varied in the world and head and shoulders more interesting than western rock. Thai music is not mostly pop, luktung, morlam, phua cheewit, klikay kantrum etc are not pop. When it comes to Thai playing western rock I have seen some kids as good as Lam Morrison. Good luck to him anyway.

Goes to our local school

Not an original artist writing his own stuff, just a guitar player doing covers of other peoples songs.
