EC – Next election may not be held according to amended charter if House is dissolved too soon

Thailand’s Election Commission (EC) will not have the legal authority to hold the next general election under the amended Constitution, which divides the country into 400 constituencies, if the House is dissolved before two election-related bills come into force, according to an informed EC source.

Anas Abdulrahman is the lead negotiator for the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN) which met the Thai Peace Dialogue Panel led by General Wanlop Rugsanoh, a senior security official with Thailand’s Ministry of Defence, on August 1st/2nd in Kuala Lumpur in talks being facilitated by Malaysia.


Deadly attacks which killed one and injured eight were condemned by the government as an ‘outrage’ but are believed to have been a response to a lack of progress at peace talks being facilitated by Malaysia.

VICTIMS of a stock Ponzi scheme have raised 2 million baht reward for anyone giving clues to the whereabouts of a popular Youtuber who has disappeared after allegedly swindling them out of over 2 billion baht in investment, Naewna newspaper said.

South: Seriously injured man in chains seeks military help after beating by "poltician's son"
