snoop1130 Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Non-governmental organisations, under the umbrella of the NGO Coordinating Committee and the People’s Network, have issued an open letter to all political parties, urging them to vote for a proposed amendment to Section 272 of the Constitution, which would strip senators of the right to elect the next prime minister. The amendment is scheduled to be debated during a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives tomorrow (Tuesday), with a vote expected the following day. The NGOs say that their members will rally in front of parliament tomorrow, to observe the debate from the outside. Popular Post billd766 Posted September 5, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 5, 2022 A good idea. Also EVERY senator should stand for election and NO past or present military or police general or members of the clergy should be allowed to be a senator. There should be NO positions reserved in the senate for any heads of the military, police or the clergy under any circumstances. Their term of appointment must be 8 years at maximum consecutively or over their lifetime. No family members can serve without being elected first. This is simply my opinion. 7 1

And then you woke up and remembered where you where! I fully concur but nepotism, corruption and servitude are the root of all Thainess, it's the very bedrock of Thailand on which all else is built How do you think fat useless dynasties like the watch man's and his partners in crime have managed to dominate the trough for so long, tell you what it's not brains a work ethic or skill... 2 1
