Actually, I fully get this... Well, sort of. Pollution in Bangkok is high. Dust outside BKK is crazy. Motorcyclist have been wearing masks since forever. I believe the OP was about "funniest things" alight hearted topic, not a serious discussion on the validity of masks etc which subsequently derailed this topic.
