Thailand’s Charter Court asks for more information on PM’s term case

The Constitutional Court is scheduled to meet again on September 14th, to discuss the 8-year term in office of suspended Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, after it instructed the secretary-general of the House of Representatives to submit additional information by the end of next Tuesday.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in cooperation with the Phuket Tourist Association and the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), has announced that the ‘Thailand Travelution 2022’ event – which will focus on the importance of using technology and the insight of Big Data to help drive the Thai tourism industry’s digital transformation – will be held on 18-19 November, 2022, at the CentralWorld complex in Bangkok.

BANGKOK, (TNA) – The Constitutional Court considered a petition on the eight-year term of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and demanded the minutes of the 501st meeting of the Constitution Drafting Committee from the House by Sept 13 before its next meeting on Sept 14.

Army helicopter to the rescue in the north - newborn infant with heart condition flown to Chiang Mai

Siam Rath reported that the 7th Infantry Regiment taskforce along with medics from Srisangwan hospital in Mae Hong Son, northern Thailand, took a 2 day old boy with a heart condition in a helicopter to Chiang Mai.

Rangsit municipality on evacuation alert as canal overflows cause heavy flooding

Rangsit municipal administration, in Bangkok’s neighbouring province of Pathum Thani, has set up five temporary shelters in five schools and three car parks after heavy flooding in the municipal area resulting from overflows from the Rangsit Prayoonsak canal.

BMA Issues Flood Warnings After Heavy Rain and High Tide

Specially trained dog supporting Thai police in human trafficking and sexual abuse of children cases

Thai police dealing with human trafficking and sexual abuse of children cases have recently been provided with some extra help, in the form of a two-year-old Labrador Retriever sniffer dog, thanks to Operation Underground Railway (OUR), an international organisation dedicated to combatting such offences.
