Thai Rath reported that rescue services in Kabinburi, Prachinburi, in central Thailand were continuing to search for two men swept away in floodwaters.

The incident happened at a weir in Ban Klong 12.

A witness reported seeing the two men on a motorcycle as they tried to cross from one side to the other on a motorcycle.

They appeared to be drunk.

He tried to help them but they were washed away.

Rescue services mounted an operation in difficult conditions using a four wheel drive vehicle but after two hours the men remained missing.

I think they we're drinking so much they just got carried away. I see a Darwin award nomination.

RIP, I think we've all done stupid things when we are drunk but sometimes what seems easy for a drunk person is actually super dangerous. Like driving.

I hope they have peace now and feel sorry for the families they left behind.

Appeared drunk ????

Anyway, I hope Bill and Ben are OK.

They probably found a little Thai shop selling Chang beer and stopped for a drink.
