Russia appreciates Thailand's understanding of reasons behind special operation — Lavrov

Good thing Thailand’s not a close neighbor of Russia.  Otherwise they’d find what Putin’s Special Operation is all about.

Good Morning,

Personally , Thailand you should be ashamed of yourselves with neutrality towards Russia and the war in Ukrain, People are dying and loosing there homes and not to mention the human abuses and atrocities happening there by a Communist Dictator out of his mind  !!
Not mention your certainly not reflecting your membership and status under The United Nations, It’s appalling Thailand !!

B/S you've been reading too much TASS and RT state controlled rubbish where you still can't even mention there's a war going on.

Turning an blind eye to Dictators and Oppressors is as foolish and dumb as a bag of rocks !! Once Russia is finished with them who next !!?? NEVER !! WAIT FOR OPPRESSORS AND DICTATORS TO COME KNOCKING ON YOUR SOIL AND HOME, Especially the very human atrocities that have already happened in Ukrain !!

What the MSM fail to mention (though the info is hiding in plain view) is not just the existence of incriminating laptops but the amount of profiteering that American defense companies are making out of this war.

We know that $39 Billion has been shovelled over to the corrupt Ukraine regime (as bad for the people as anything that Putin can lob over to them), but we don't know exactly how much Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin (to name only two merchants of death) have been able to scoop up in this war.  (Reuters mention "more than $10 Billion".)

This might give some clue:

Share price of Northrop Grumman

Feb 3: $369.75

Sept 9: $491.35

Lockheed Martin

Feb 3: $389.33

Sept 9: $421.53  (on Aug 16 it was $440.16)

So, in conclusion, the American tax-payer is being told he or she is funding this expensive  boondoggle that brings not the slightest sliver of extra security to the American citizen.

Maybe it is time for US and EU to put a ban on flights to Thailand.

Then they can live on quality tourists.

You should organize a boycott and lead by example.

Good to see some countries staying neutral and not relying on western propaganda.

I guess you are also pleased to see the clear and honest reporting the Russian people get back home?

Why...?? because its taking a neutral stand on this conflict.

It has sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine.  Sent none to Russia--what else is expected ? no one sends troops there, and Thailand doesn't produce the sort of high Thec weapons that Ukraine need.

Tell me they should stop buying anything from Russia....... Sure as soon as the west -does the same.

They (Europe) say they will stop next year 2023, with their fingers crossed that it will all be sorted by then.

Until then, it's.. Please turn the pipe line back on My Putin.

I am sure Russia is greatful that another nation is not opposing their morally questionable crusade.

What Thailand is not willing to say is that Russia is being led by a despot, who enjoys murdering his critics. And seems to have few qualms about murdering women and children in Ukraine.

We all remember how Thailand also "remained neutral" during WWII, and allowed themselves to be occupied by the Japanese. Perhaps this "being on the wrong side of history" is becoming habitual?

You are deluded if you think only individuals/corporations on one side profit from a war. But in this case, neither of those companies you mentioned controls the market and neither did they instigate the events that gave rise to their share price increases. The support of Ukraine in this despicable conflict is not about money. This is about supporting the victim of one county's attempt to destroy another. A conflict driven by one egomaniac's desire to see his beloved Soviet Union restored (as he alluded to in an audience with students many years ago)

We are truly grateful that you are not condemning our slaughter of innocent women and children. Thank you so much for that. It means alot.

Just when I think we are headed in the right direction they take this neutral stand. Yea, plenty of discounted oil and gas while the EU will be freezing soon.

Thailand stays neutral  until they know which side is winning

"An ambassador is an honest man sent abroad to lie and intrigue for the benefit of his country." ( Sir Henry Wotton )

Permit me to doubt Lavrov qualifies for the first adjective.

It is depressing to read posts by people that obviously live in a moral vacuum, blaming the West for the actions of a megalomaniac.

"We understand how you, too, hate that Western construct called 'democracy', having taken power by force, as well as how accommodating and supportive you are of your coup d'etat brothers to the west. Your concept of allowing other to save face, knowing as well as we do that how we justified our aggression against Ukraine is a lie so silly (get rid of the Nazis) no person with an IQ higher than a turnip would believe it, makes us realize abject immorality, wanton brutality, and heinous barbarism still has a place in this world."

Lavrov the cocaine horse that talks about bio fleas and bats is understood here in banana land priceless ????

Zelensky is Jewish, I'm just wondering how all the Nazis the Russians claim are in Ukraine elected him.

I'll give Lavrov credit, I could not say what he does with a straight face.

Russia is quickly creating new NATO members right on their borders. Putin has no clue what he is doing. The desperation is strong on that one.

  • Popular Post

In modern times, Thailand has been neutral except where it has been dragged into something. The nonaligned movement was one aspect of its declared neutrality. It does irritate warmongers but it is their kingdom not ours.

The Queen RIP got it right when she met Putin and a nearby dog barked at him, she said “Dogs have interesting instincts don’t they”

She broke all protocol but spot on. Putin is a murderer and war criminal.

Well of course, Russia is looking for new customers for its oil and Thailand wouldn't say no to securing some at a reasonable price.

Still, disgraceful behaviour

Which behavior do you find more distrustful Khao Yai -- The fact that Thailand may be taking oil from Russia--or that 90% of the NATO countries are already taking Oil/Gas etc from Russia. In fact they never stopped.

One NATO member even aiding Russia, by brokering deals as an in a go between (at a price)  harboring Russian  oligarchs super yachts in their harbors -- Banking their money, and voting to not let 2 other members who are on Russia's border into NATO.

I think we understand who you feel is more disgraceful country is --- its Thailand isn't it................:coffee1:

Dictators will always agree with each other ! Once again Thailand sitting on the fence don’t be surprised if those who openly support or those who use the word neutral have sanctions imposed against them sooner rather than later
