National Assembly to approve dismissal of transport minister

The National Assembly is expected to approve the dismissal of Nguyen Van The from his position as transport minister, upon the prime minister's request.

 

The 4th plenary session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to begin on October 20 and end on November 15. Per the agenda, the National Assembly would have meetings to listen to the Standing Committee regarding the dismissal of the state auditor general for the 2021-2026 term and listen to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requesting the dismissal of the transport minister for the 2021-2026 term.

 

Reasons for the dismissal have not been revealed.
