Hundreds of tourists visit Tham Luang Cave, site of Thai Cave Rescue, in Chiang Rai on first day of reopening

Chiang Rai – Hundreds of tourists have visited the Tham Luang – Khun Nam Nang Non National Park in Chiang Rai on the first day of the reopening of the cave famous for the rescue of a team of youth football players.

 

About 700 tourists visited the cave in the Pong Pha sub-district in Mae Sai district today (October 16th).

 

The head of the national park Mrs. Roongsaran Banluesakchai told Thai media, “The cave has been renovated before the reopening which is now open daily from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. However, some parts in the cave are still under construction.”
