Pattaya — Pattaya Terminal 21 will host another fantastic event for foodies to celebrate the start of another long weekend from October 21st to the 24th.

The seafood festival will feature rows of street food vendors from across Eastern Thailand under a street market theme, starting this Friday on the specious mockup runway in front of one of the world-class shopping malls in Thailand, Pattaya Terminal 21.

Or just go down to the Naklua fresh seafood market.

Seafood will be fresh at a fraction of the price, no air-conditioning though.

I love Thailand but they are woeful with seafood. they could learn a thing or two from their southern neighbours and get some proper ikan bakar going.

But Thais feel their southern neighbors could learn a thing or two from them. They very much like their seafood as is, and this festival will be very well attended. The shops will benefit throughout the mall.

The big problem with these food festivals outdoors is the heat and uncovered non iced food stalls.  All the bacteria and quick spoilage especially with seafood that gets into the food it is one of the easiest ways to get sick.  I would never touch the stuff some of it possibly sitting out there for 3 days.  There is an extreme ignorance here about proper food preservation.
