proton
Almost all the Thai music cafes shut in bkk, no Veteethai concert at Prapradeng on Sat with 7/4 concert before at Central Rama 2, then 94.5 concert on Sunday at lumpini night bazzar. Quite boring these days. ????

Popular Post Baron Samedi
I was 20 yo old back then. Had no idea Europe would soon bite the dust. 20 years of crisis, austerity, political lies, horrid policies and finally the failure of globalization, skyrocketing inequalities, political divide, the end of US dominance over the world, a pandemic, a war, an energy crisis and out-of-control inflation ???????? My life didn't turn out to be what I thought it would be. Stressful times but kinda interesting though. Reminds me of the chocolate box story in Forrest Gump. That being said I hope all this will end with the heads of the neolibs on a stick. Those retards have ruined the lives of an entire generation of young westerners. 1 1

Doctor Tom
I has just been appointed as CEO of a research company in the US. The post was well paid, but as boring as hell. Still, I kept me in gainful employment until the time to move to Asia, so it served its purpose. I have no wish to return to those days, there was no 'food for the soul' in the highly cut throat world in which that company operated.

It was 20 years ago, God answered my prayers to send me to live somewhere with loads of easy, hot women. I was thinking somewhere in Europe, like Magaluf, or as it was known "Shagaluf" to us 15 year old virgins. Well, God indeed outdid himself. I must have insulted him by saying that the loose British women who went to Magaluf were hot.

As 38 yrs old then and too vested at the time. Took 7 yrs to adapt & adjust to leave the USA behind after enlightenment. Mixed thoughts with that move, but overall better all around, I think. No real regrets staying in USA that long, as having a blast there, just things so much cheaper in the 3rd world. Less earnings given to wasteful govt and most necessities cheaper outside of USA. Though as 1st world countries go, USA still cheaper than most others, IF HEALTHY.
farmerjo
Came in 2005 to live,33 with $75,000 in my pocket. Thought could live forever on that. Reality check very quickly, assembled 100 rai of land. Got lucky with employment here which lead to bigger things over the years. Married with two children. Since covid have done 12 days work so consider myself a self funded retiree. Easy life when you don't work for the banks. The one disavantage of coming here younger is my wife is only eleven years younger.???? Edited October 20, 2022 by farmerjo
