Bangkok – Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet confirmed to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC 2022) in Bangkok, Foreign Affairs Minister Don Pramudwinai revealed on Tuesday, October 18th.

The Minister told the Associated Press that there is no official confirmation whether the President would attend the APEC meeting or not.

Don said that Putin would like to attend the meeting but there are a lot of things that he has to consider, including the complicated procedures of traveling outside the country.

  • He is not coming to Thailand; suggesting otherwise is delusional. To hope he comes is bizzare.

  • ..And for entry.. He must show proof almost one shot of Polonium or Booster.

  • Very unlikely the warmongering Czar Putin will show his face outside Russia! He's too busy cementing his place in history!

As I said in an earlier topic, he's way to paranoid to leave the borders of Russia.

Think his concern is centered around his own safety with to many guns here and this may be his final resting place should he get in a car, plus of course a couple of billion people that want him dead and would be more than happy to help him out with that ????

The real reason for Putin's visit, is so that he can meet Xi.

Now that Xi has that pesky thing of getting rubber stamp elected out of the way, they can get back to business of demolished the old world order.

Hopefully in Saddam fashion .

Very much doubt Putin will dare to set foot in Thailand - too many people want him dead.

If Putin doesn't show then the next UN vote may not be abstained.

Face for the dismal decision for Thailand ????????  not condemning  Russia at The U.N. assembly along with what MANY !! Other Nations did, CONDEMN RUSSIA ???????? For there continued  atrocities in Ukraine ???????? !!!

  • Popular Post

Is he part of the "high quality" group of people that the government hopes to attract to Thailand?

  • Popular Post

Thailand doesn't seem to know there is a war on.

  • Popular Post

maybe russian can pull a taksin type coup...wait til he goes out of country for a meeting then roll the tanks and take over in the dead of night, install some new general as dictator in waiting.

Three very good reasons he won't come to Thailand:

1/ He could be arrested, abducted or assassinated here

2/ It would make a coup in Russia against him simpler.

3/ He's a paranoid. It's now all about his survival.

He won't even visit the troops who are dying for him in Ukraine, Zelensky does.

Don't know what is sadder, a war mongering terrorist dictator worried about his own safety during international travel or Don thinking the above statement is a satisfactory explanation from a rational thinking person.

He is scared, that's all. And he should be!

Putin is getting very little help from Xi, Putin is sourcing weapons from Iran and North Korea. China is not sending any, for fear of secondary sanctions.

Xi is smarter than Putin, a weakened Russia dependent on China for export income would suit his book admirably.

There is also the Amur River border, the Chinese have taken note of the Russian military's abysmal performance in Ukraine. The riches of Siberia are a juicy prospect.

The security concerns would far outweigh his presence for everyone present?

Tick the no show box on this one.

When did any world leader set foot in Thailand? Why would they?

Both Xi and Putin have verbally committed, but have yet to return their RSVP.

Assuming both go to the G20 (15/16 Nov) in Bali, I think they'll decide then if they want to go to APEC (18/19 Nov).

I can't see Putin leaving Russia due to personal, political and medical reasons.

With the rumours of his health problems fluid nodules might build up during treatment due to immune problems.

Pointless planning any more then a few minutes ahead for Putin, bring on the Ceausescu repeat. ????

Oh I don’t think that mass murdering war criminal would dare expose himsielf to a possible hit and or a coup back home shame on Thailand for even allowing the possibility of a visit

Putin is not going to leave the Kremlin.  It would give the people against him the opportunity to take over.

Leaving would not be a problem.  Landing back in Russia may be a different story.

I am surprised Sleepy joe is not coming.  I think he would like the ice cream here.

I heard Siam paragon is going to be closed so that Kamala can go shopping instead of attending meetings.

Also not coming:  the Easter Bunny, Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and Godot.
