Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health has issued three edicts concerning the use of cannabis and hemp, includingcannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), in food and seasonings.

Street racers warned of incarceration if they gather in a groups of 5 or more

Street car racers in Thailand are warned that they may face imprisonment and hefty fines if more than five of them gather together for illegal races, even if they have not started racing, said Pol Col Prasobchoke Iamphinit, superintendent of Prachachuen police station.

“Tono’s Mekong swim” raises over 60 million baht

Thai-Swedish resident reveals story of being robbed in thief-targeted neighborhood in Banglamung, urges serious police investigation

A Thai-Swedish woman, 27, revealed on Saturday, October 22nd, that her house in Soi Map Song, Nong Yai Moo 11 in Nong Prue subdistrict, Banglamung district, was robbed with a total loss of nearly 500,000 baht while many of her neighbours were also robbed in the past year or two.

Fears for Russian tourist, a top business executive, gone missing from Naithon Beach in Phuket

The search for 53-year-old Elena Rusradchenko began again on Sunday after being wound down on Saturday night at 9 pm. 

Police have not ruled out that the woman may have been attacked for her personal belongings but it is also feared she may have had difficulties in the sea off Naithon Beach and drowned. The search continues on Sunday amid stormy waters.
