Popular Post Sjoerd
Since 1 month the immigration use a new building backsite the old building. The Bangkok Bank at Kapchoeng is closed since 2 months; therefore the Bank statement for 800.000 THB in the bank had to be made at Prasat (costs 200 THB). All was finished in a nice way in about 1,5 hour. The officers (most somewhat older women) worked happy together and had jokes too. Even the boss came to greet.. I needed (many other papers where throw back to me as copy TM 30, copy bankbook pages, google map) - TM 7 filled in - 1 photo 2 inch - Copy passport ID page + arrival/non O visumstamp and boarding pass - Bank statement 800.000 - from the house owner (was with me) copy tabain house I live, copy tabain bahn she lives and copy ID her. - owner had to sign that I lived in her house (not needed rent contract) Also I made a single Re entry paper. For this I just had to give one extra photo. Total price 2.900 THB I hope some people can use this information..

Seems you have a very helpful immigration office. For a reentry permit that requires you to fill in a TM8. Sounds like they did this for you. Sounds like you obtained a bank statement this is separate from the bank letter. The bank letter is usually 100baht. You mention boarding pass. Think you mean TM6. (arrival card) You stated..... "Copy passport ID page + arrival/non O visumstamp and boarding pass"... You need more pp pages photocopies than what you outline.. For a reentry permit that requires you to fill in a TM8. I not needed to fill in as 2,5 years ago The bank made a statement about my balance today: 100 THB and a certified copy of my balance during last year: 100 Bath You need more pp pages photocopies than what you outline.. NO!! ???? And I arrived at 29 august, not got a TM 6, they asked for the boarding pass. I am not on this forum to tell lies.. Just wanted to give usefull information. As I know all can be different in other immigration offices/oficers............. Edited October 27, 2022 by Sjoerd explain more

First up thankyou for the report. Not suggesting your account is not accurate so all good. As for boarding pass request from immigration that's just nuts. I accept you were asked for this but just crazy request from immigration. Regarding the reentry permit many offices would do that at a different counter and you would fill in the details yourself. Hence my comment that's not the norm as to advise others to prepare TM8 for separate process. Obviously done AFTER the extension process. In the first place I not adviced people ; just told my experience from today. This new office not have many separate counters as 90 days report etc. Just the first counter is to judge your request whatever you want, And as I told, nice, helpfull people... That;s why I not go into the new office at city Surin but 50 km more far to Kapchoeng..

At one time, if my memory serves me correctly, Surin/Kapchoeng were routinely issuing 30-day "under consideration" stamps for retirement extension applications in the same way as for marriage extensions! I think that we can safely take it from the OP's report, though, that this is no longer the case.
