Good Quality Driveway Paint, for Concrete

I don't see anything apart for the usual roof paints in the shops, can anyone recommend anything sturdy of higher quality?

Nope. I doubt that a good quality paint would last two years in Thailand. Try to find a concrete additive to mix in.

Currently the paint we have on our concrete has lasted roughly 5 years, though it is not on a high trafficked area. It isn’t specifically designed for concrete driveways so I have no idea why you seem to think for, a paint designed for driveways, that there would be a 2 year life.

Yes indeed, epoxy paints do seem to fit the bill here. I've been talking to a Japanese company in Bangkok who specialise in this, SK Kaken seems pretty switched on and clued up and are easy to talk to. The big name stores that were mentioned don't seem to have much and their staff know less than I do. My next task is to find someone to sand/grind the concrete surface which cause it's on a slight incline seems to be an issue for some.

The epoxy’s are certainly available however getting it applied by a competent installer is a completely different case, whereas competent sand wash installers are available.

The concrete was laid some months ago but the powder color was poorly applied and didn't hold in many places. Because the height/depth of the concrete is already fixed, it isn't possible to apply sand wash which requires one quarter/three eighths of an inch on top of the concrete.

I'd be interested to know how you clean old concrete from old oil etc.. before actually painting.

A solvent cleaner and a power wash maybe?

There are often possible solutions that a new view can provide, however pictures will be essential to have good options.

Thanks you for the kind offer, I may well do that but I'm currently down with covid, apart from not feeling brilliant I'm not allowed outside by SWWBO. In the meantime, 54 square meeting, about a 20% gradient, mating level at the top end with an equal area of sandwash covered concrete and at the bottom end, the rail for the electronic gate.....
