In Group F holders Real Madrid overwhelmed Glasgow Celtic 5-1 and RB Leipzig secured their place in the last-16 by beating Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0.

Cricket - India moved to the brink of a semi-final spot with a tense five-run victory over Bangladesh in a rain-affected Men's T20 World Cup match in Adelaide.

They are now top of Group 2 and victory in their final game against Zimbabwe who all but out after their defeat by The Netherlands should see them progress while Bangladesh need to beat Pakistan and hope that other results go their way.

Tennis - World number one Iga Swiatek beat Daria Kasatkina in straight sets to make a winning start at the WTA Finals. Poland's Swiatek, 21, defeated the Russian 6-2 6-3 to record her 46th straight-set win this year on the tour.
