Daily News Thai Caption: Money thrown away!

A motorcycle delivery rider in Udon Thani in Thailand's north eastern region parked his bike and found a stack of fake foreign and Thai cash by a tree in the downtown area, reported Daily News.

He called the Muang district police to come and investigate.

The bills were found outside the fence of Mark Khaeng School on Srisuk Road.

Somsak Sirikhan and a buddy helped police by pointing to the wads of notes that had been printed on regular A4 paper.

There was some real foreign money among the stash that was put in a plastic bag for counting.

There were 77 1,000 baht forgeries, 68 100s and 25 1,000 baht bills with Luang Phor Khoon's image on them and other damaged currency.

There were 17 fake 10 million Yen Japanese notes.

The rest was real, it was thought.

This was Laotian and Cambodian money in various denominations.

The police took it all away for safekeeping as they try to find out who was responsible.

No fun in counterfeiting Laotian and Cambodian money because you need a back pack full (small denominations)  just to pay for beer :whistling:

Now come on which is it? Either the police took it away, or it was locked away for safekeeping ................LOL

After all the guns going missing from stations, what makes you think money (even fake) would be safely locked up ?
