Thai Rath reported comments made by Justice Minister Somsak Thepsuthin after a meeting of the Rights and Liberties Protection Department.

It concerned payments to victim's families after the shooting incident at a nursery in Nong Bua Lamphu, NE Thailand, last month.

It was decided that due to the brazen and grave nature of the incident the victims - there were 22 little children - would get 90,000 baht compensation.

That was made up of 50,000 baht death benefit and 40,000 baht in expenses.

Twenty five families would get the money while 11 more would have to wait for more documentation to be provided.

husband of deceased pregnant women was seen on social media that he was denied compensation for his stillborn son due to the fact that it wasn't born yet... the 11 more that had to wait is probably suffering the same humiliating treatment offered by the government
