Police take action after "Nam Mai Aap" gang of street racers converge on Khao Khor in Phetchabun

Pol Gen Torsak Sukhwimon in his capacity as the policeman responsible for action against street racing gave details of police operations in Khao Khor, Phetchabun at the weekend.

 

A gang called "Nam Mai Aap" (we don't take showers) had converged on the scenic area in motorcycles and cars, reported Siam Rath

The RTP had advance warning and set up dozens of road blocks on Routes 21 and 12.

 

They fined 72 people for not having helmets, 135 for no licenses, 98 for having bikes without full equipment, 84 with no plates, 42 no tax, 8 for going the wrong way and 93 that were illegally adapted. 

 

305 cars and 542 bikes were checked.

Everyone was told to drive sensibly on their way home from the meet. 

 

The public were reminded they can get 3,000 baht for reporting illegal activity.

That must have really scared them !  They won't do that again.

If they have took all illegal bikes and people off road would have been a step to getting legal people on a safer road .
