The whole country is blanketed in smoke mid-December. onwards.....the 'mountains' near us totally disappear for months.

 

Had to laugh today.....there is huge 15' high pile of rice grass all ready to burn in our village...........20m from the health clinic.

Nah, it´s a little bit different. However, the two parts you are right about. First they have to dry the wood and garbage, after they set fire to it.

Where?

In Bangkok,  March is better.  In CM, it's not better.

CM worse. CR bad, too.

Also air quality in Pattaya not great, last few days, couldn't see Koh Lan yesterday

What about Laos in Feb and March. Google says Vietianne bad in March.

 

Otherwise Koh Samui and Krabi it is.

Laos generally a bit better than Thailand - and much better than CM -, South better than North.
