  • Who is going to educate the parents?

  • Is hot pepper a veg? If yes, then Thais eat more vegs than anybody else on the planet.

  • Kids should eat everything or at least try to taste. They have indeed to be educated by their parents. Let them to do as they like will only make uncontrolled kids..

The Japanese are always amazed that Asians don't do the same as them.

One Japanese chap told me seriously that Japan is not in Asia.

I have a theory that the Japanese have been left to their own device for so long (island nation), they are truly an odd bunch.

Aside from trading and religious exchanges with China and Korea in the past, they did not have any type of interactions with the outside world until the 16th century and it wasn't until 1860, they allowed Western countries to trade with them.

If you really delve into their culture, traditions and customs you soon realize it too.

You need magnesium.

It was all a bit rural there.... I felt I needed some broccoli, cabbage, or brussels sprouts!

It was suggested that parents in Thailand don't educate their children about the goodness in vegetables.

In fact they let them do as they please, unlike the rearing of Japanese children.

If the Japanese understood the amount of chemical residues on Thai vegetables they would understand why most people are wary of eating them.
