Pro military party in an uphill battle to win next elections, as rumors of Prayut joining a new party continues to make waves

Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha still believes that he can win the next general election despite the ongoing turmoil within the ruling coalition and that he wants to be in the premier seat until 2025, former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said.

 

“He does not care if the people are suffering and he does not care if the economy is staggering, he does not care, he wants to stay,” the self-exiled Thaksin said in his bi-weekly talk on Clubhouse.

 

“He already arranged the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit like me, so he want to stay for the full term like me as well,” he said.

 

“The only case where he will not stay for the full term is the case where he can see that he will be able to come back for another 2 years,” he added.
