The days of calling you G.P from a landline or (going to  hospital for an emergency) and making an appointment in a few days are from a bygone era .

  If you need urgent medical assistance , contact 111 , if its not urgent then go and visit your G.P whenever you can

The 111 service is there to do what it says on the tin, reduce visits to hospital A&E.

 

People are going directly to A&E because they can’t get a GP appointment.

 

Government’s target for GP appointments is 2 weeks, it was 2 days when they came into office.

 

Access to GPs has collapsed after 12 years of Tory mismanagement and voters have taken note.
