As far as I know a bit of soap doesn't do any harm.

Sounds like the lady scammed the hotel for a free holiday.

Wake up man read the story, go drink some of the stuff yourself and see how you feel.

I'd hate to think what she would do if she found a mouse trap with cheese stuck on it

waited for the mouse ?

So, in the kitchen of the hotel they probably have 10 litre bottles of washing up liquid , and also large bottles of sweetener .Someone inexperienced filled the sweetener table bottles with washing up liquid.

Mystery solved ??
What I didn’t know was that hôtels/ restaurants etc used liquid sweetener .Never seen this anywhere.

No matter how much sweetening syrup she was putting in it made no difference.

Then she realised that the bottle without any label she was using was actually washing up liquid.

Obviously not a coffee connoisseur...

can't tell the smell/taste of sugar from washing up liquid?

Perhaps the frothed milk hid the tiny soap bubbles.   Perhaps Fairy doesn't froth in coffee with milk.

Yeh! Perhaps.

The brother begged posters - who commented in great numbers on Facebook's Hotel Addict - not to try and prise the name of the hotel from him.

Where was this?
